//About Michael
Michael McCormack provides state-of-the-art music for film, television, internet and video projects. His scoring capabilities range from classical symphonic to electronic music.

Michael has composed, produced, and performed music for many high-profile projects, creating original music that both celebrates, and emulates, some of Motion Pictures' most prolific composers, such as: John Williams, in the 3-hour JAWS documentary "The Shark Is Still Working" and upcoming "Indyfans and the Quest for Fortune and Glory," celebrating the world of INDIANA JONES.

He has also composed music in the tradition of BACK TO THE FUTURE's celebrated composer, Alan Silvestri, in the documentary "Looking Back At the Future."

Additionally, McCormack is no stranger to the musical world of JAMES BOND film composers, John Barry and David Arnold, to whom he pays tribute with his music on the www.Commanderbond.net podcasts every month, available online and via i-Tunes.

In the world of short films, McCormack has also provided original songs and scores to features like "The Agonist" and "The Tyler Mullins Story" for Agenda Films. In 2008, McCormack composed the score for the award-winning short film,"Big Ticket."

McCormack provided a lush-electronic dance score for "Balocity," a ballet-inspired workout DVD, featuring Deanna McBrearty, formally of the New York City ballet, and provided theme music for "Movie Geeks United!," a very popular talk show available on Blogtalkradio and i-Tunes.

Michael is the founding member of the modern rock project, The Invented (www.theinvented.com), featured in "The Shark Is Still Working" and "Looking Back At the Future." Along with producer/guitarist Greg Parker, the dynamic songcraft of The Invented is a perfect choice for the needs of producers seeking songs custom-made for their projects.

This musical versatility, and dedication to the vision of his collaborators, makes Michael McCormack an ideal selection to match the tone and emotions of any visual piece.

Michael resides in Nashville, TN USA, working with creative talent all over the world...
