Laughing for no reason has never made more sense. This short documentary explores the worldwide Laughter Club movement through the eyes of a curious, yet skeptical, newcomer attending the 2007 World Laughter Day celebration in Los Angeles.
Since its founding in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria, the Laughter Club movement has become a global initiative aimed to spread good health, joy, and world peace through laughter. World Laughter Day, started by Dr. Kataria in Mumbai, India in 1998, is now celebrated around the world on the first Sunday of every May. "World Laughter Day" was filmed on May 6th, 2007 and is debuting here at the Doorpost Film Project. Thanks for watching! |
