//About Jonathan
I count myself among the privileged to be doing exactly what I'm meant to do on this planet, and usually in the right place at the right time. I'm fortunate to have a wife with the heart of an angel and the mouth of a sailor, who always supports me and never leaves me guessing. I have a 3-year old son Austin who is a little gentleman and an entertainment force and a beautiful 5 month old daughter Chloe, both of whom defy the karma that should have been dealt me. I smile a lot.

//Favorite Movies
City of Lost Children, Raising Arizona, Five Easy Pieces, 12 Angry Men, Brazil, Stranger Than Fiction, Being John Malkovich, The Apostle, Children of Men, Iron Man (that one's for Austin), on and on it goes.
//Jonathan's Camera of Choice
I currently am using the living daylights out a Panasonic HVX200 with a Redrock Micro M2 35mm adapter, flip and Zeiss primes. Dialed in, it holds up, for the money. But I still love film and the art / science involved.
//Jonathan Became a Filmmaker Because
My love of claymation stop action shows as a small child combined with my avid addiction to the One O'clock Movie on some channel in the summers and whenever I could fake sick well enough to stay home. That's where I saw all the classics. My mom loved to watch them with me, if she'd only known it would mean a life of inner turmoil and poverty...
//General Interests
Shoes. Lots and lots of shoes. Oh, and hats too. Yeah definitely all kinds of hats. Accessories really. No yellow gold though. Too gauche.
//Jonathan Became a Writer Because
I needed material to film. I continue to write, because nothing happens without it. I love creating a character and watching them incarnate in front of me, and then go along for the ride wherever they take me. Often is not where I originally thought we were going. And then to see the script come to life on film is overwhelmingly satisfying.
